Career Services
Jobs are not one-size fits all. That’s why ATI’s Career Services team works closely with students, graduates, and employers to match the right candidates to the right opportunity.
More Than a Job Board:
Career Services at ATI is based-on individualized attention to students and employers. Students are encouraged to meet with career advisors through their ATI journey. The more we know about the experiences and ambitions of each student, the better we are able to guide them.
The same level of attention is offered to employers interested in hiring ATI students and graduates. ATI career advisor’s will spend time learning about aspects of each opportunity we present to students, including technical skill requirements, company culture, schedule, compensation, and growth opportunities.
Prepared Candidates:
Being able to communicate technical skills to potential employers is important when seeking out job opportunities. ATI students work with career advisors to produce a professional resume and practice interview skills. Employer’s appreciate knowing that ATI candidates are screened and prepared.
On-Campus Recruitment Opportunities:
Throughout the year, employers are invited to interact with students and graduates in multiple ways:
- Career Fairs: ATI’s career fairs are some of most exciting days to be on our campus! Participating employers share information about a variety of opportunities available to ATI students and graduates.
- Employer Spotlights: Employers can interact directly with students who have expressed specific interest in their organization.
- Show-and-Tell: A favorite amongst students! Employers are invited to visit campus and provide a technical briefing that includes equipment students would see in the field.
The Power of Partnership:
ATI has benefitted from strong support of industry employers. From equipment donations to manufacturer training access, our employer partners recognize the value of career-minded technicians. Specific ways to partner with ATI include:
- Educational Partner: From donating equipment to providing manufacturer training access, educational partners support ATI’s efforts to consistently enhance training quality.
- Co-Op Partner: Co-op partners offer students opportunities to earn competitive pay and scholarship awards while gaining experience relevant to their in-school training.
- Program Advisory Committee (PAC): PAC members serve in a more formal role and twice each year meet to review curriculum, program materials, equipment, facilities, and student achievement outcomes.
