Maritime Welding Technology
Located in the heart of America's shipbuilding industry, ATI's 15-month Maritime Welding diploma program was designed to meet the standards of shipyards and military contractors known for their work around the globe.
Get trained in structural and pipe applications with multiple gauges of steel and aluminum, using 5 different welding processes and 3 different cutting techniques.
Program Highlights
Learn Through Action
Learn by doing. 80% of your instructional time will be in the shop. You will have your own booth and be provided with all necessary equipment and supplies throughout the program.

Certify While in School
You can earn American Welding Society (AWS) Certifications, up to 6g Pipe, while in our program. Testing is done on-site and during normal class hours.2 of 5

The Language of Welding
Knowing how to weld won't do you much good if you don't know what to weld. That's why ATI includes training on how to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, allowing you to turn designs into reality.

Prepare To Lead
If leading others is part of your career plan, upgrade your Diploma to an Associate’s Degree with only 15 weeks of additional training. ATI’s Trades Leadership courses teach communication, computing, and critical thinking skills to better prepare you for supervisory roles.
